Dr. Jin is a dedicated Indiana Licensed Acupuncturist (L. Ac.). He holds the Certification of Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) and Chinese Herbology (Dipl. C.H.) by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Jin has spent twenty years in the area of acupuncture and herbal medicine. He has devoted himself in assisting the body back to Optimal Health and Health Prevention by acupuncture and herbal medicine. Dr. Jianhua Jin has made his life goal of study and application of acupuncture and herbal medicine after he finished his five-year Bachelor program on medical science of modern medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He went to southern China for his master program of TCM. He has studied and worked under the famous Professor Enquang Shi who had created unique methodology in internal disease treatment by combining the heritages from his family and his own study. Then Dr. Jin worked as a resident doctor in the University Hospital of Guiyang College of TCM for two years. To further expand his knowledge and enhance his skills, Dr. Jin then pursued his Ph. D. for TCM at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is the top YCM School funded by the Ministry of Medical Science in China. His research area focused on developing herbal treatment for the late stages of chronic kidney infection. During the program, he practiced TCM under Dr. Mianzhi Wang, who is the TCM expert in the treatment of diseases of woman and children. After his Ph. D. program, he advanced his research in developing the methodology of applying acupuncture and herbal medicine to prevention of aging and illness for the senior citizen population. He also held an Associated Professor position teaching Geriatrics in Beijing University of TCM. Based on his own practice and research, Dr. Jin has published his books, "The Frequent Mistakes in Clinical Treatment and Diagnosis" and "The Current research of Herbal Medicine". Dr. Jin moved to Lafayette with his family in 2000. He achieved his practice license in Indiana in 2002 and restarted his practice in 2003 as part of the Pacelli Health Care Team of Physicians.
